Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach will help streamline operations and support our commitment to excellence in product delivery.
Duties
- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying quantities, and recording details
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately for delivery or transfer
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain inventory accuracy through stock replenishment, stock rotation
- Assist with order fulfillment for e-commerce platforms by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution operations
- Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks preferred
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing procedures, and inventory control methods
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipping documentation
- Strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards
