Sleep Study Technician

Pay From: $32 per Hour
MUST:
The Sleep Study Technician must have the following:
1 year of experience as a Sleep Study Technician
Registered or Certified as an RST, CPSGT, or SOS
Experience conducting comprehensive polysomnographic studies
Monitoring vital signs
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to sleep medicine
Experience creating reports and reviewing with providers
DUTIES:
The Duties of the Sleep Tech include but are not limited to the following:
Conduct comprehensive overnight polysomnographic studies
Monitor vital signs and physiological data during sleep studies to ensure accurate results.
Perform physical examinations and assess patients' medical history to identify potential sleep disorders
Document findings and communicate with healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with physicians to interpret diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients
Create reports for providers
Provide education and support to patients regarding sleep hygiene and treatment options
