Patient Care Coordinator Registration Outreach

Pay: From $18 Per hour
MUST:
The Patient Care Coordinator Registration candidate needs to have the following:
2 years of medical office experience
Experience handling clinical duties in a medical office or ambulatory surgical site as well and strong medical terminology knowledge
Experience reaching out to patients prior to procedures and obtaining detailed information to clear pre procedure process
Reviewing medical histories and verify health status, any allergies they may have, medications and any other required information
Ensuring that patients are medically cleared prior to procedures
Facilitating patient safety prior to procedures
Answering patient questions regarding procedures
Experience reviewing patient information and medical histories to make sure there is no missing information, lab results or test results
HS Diploma and BLS required
DUTIES:
The duties of the Care Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:
Handle patient reach out
Collect and verify medical histories and confirm that patients are medically prepared and cleared prior to procedures
Ensure required lab and test results are documented and completed
Provide patient education regarding procedures
Document patient information in EMR and verify accuracy
