Understanding of DoD acquisition process
Excellent writing skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable using MS Office tools
Able to work fully onsite based on client needs
10% travel
DAWIA or DAU PM III certification in Program Management

DUTIES:
As a Nuclear Acquisition Analyst, you will effectively asses the work of military services, coordinate across overlapping responsibilities, conduct technical research, prepare actions memos, and collaborate with a team of 6.
Nuclear Acquisition Analyst will develop decision-ready material for senior leaders and navigate headquarters and acquisition processes to support portfolio management responsibilities. Additionally, the role involves overseeing systems from development through production and fielding to ensure effective support for the warfighter.
Nuclear Acquisition Analyst will support OSD oversight of the Nuclear Triad sustainment and modernization, with a primary focus on nuclear modernization programs in any legs of the nuclear Triad.
Will provide support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategic, Space, and Intelligence Portfolio Management (DASD(SSIPM)) in the Strategic Deterrence and Capabilities (SDC) Directorate.
Will support DASD (SSIPM)s participation in the Nuclear Weapons Council and other DoD nuclear-related forums, and will develop decision-ready material for senior leaders and apply the initiative to navigate headquarters and acquisition processes to support the DASD portfolio management responsibilities.
Nuclear Acquisition Analyst will support portfolio management and oversight of systems through development, production, and fielding to the warfighter.
