Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at a mental health treatment facility. The BHT plays a key role in providing direct care, support, and accountability to clients in treatment. This position is responsible for monitoring client activities, ensuring participation in therapeutic programming, assisting with transportation, and contributing to the overall safe and therapeutic environment of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and support to clients throughout the daily schedule.
- Ensure timely attendance of clients to groups, individual therapy, and other scheduled appointments.
- Monitor and document client behavior and interactions in detailed shift reports.
- Assist with client transport to and from appointments, meetings, or other necessary activities.
- Support facility operations by helping with daily tasks such as room checks, medication reminders, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and enforce facility rules and expectations consistently.
- Report any client concerns or incidents to supervisory staff immediately.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and recovery-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or experience in behavioral health preferred.
- Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment or mental health setting is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- No driving infractions within the past 2 years.
- Must pass a urine drug screen prior to employment and comply with random drug testing policies.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
