If needed, Quadax can hire candidates outside of commutable distance in OH, PA, MI, IN, KY, WV, TN, GA, FL, TX, MO, WI, NE, SD, SC, or NC. Visa sponsorship not available. Candidates living within commutable distance of Middleburg Heights, OH will be onsite 2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
· Lead architecture and design of major system functions
· Collaborate with other architects to develop enterprise-wide architecture and design
· Create and enforce software architecture standards, design patterns, and coding best practices
· Actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
· Research and evaluate new technologies for adoption at Quadax
· Mentor developers in system architecture and design, and development best practices
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
· 5 years of experience architecting, designing, and developing high performance RESTful APIs and web applications in event-based architectures
· Background utilizing Decisions or other low-code/BOAT platforms preferred
· Strong understanding of development SOLID design principles, design patterns, and secure coding principles
· Experience mentoring developers, establishing best practices, and setting design and development standards
· Strong communication skills
