What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Account Manager position at QTL?
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound inside sales activities:
- Prepare, review and deliver accurate quotes in line with pricing, discounting, and company policies.
- Enter and process customer orders in the ERP/CRM system; ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and operations to confirm lead times, availability, and on-time delivery.
- Act as primary point of contact and escalation for customer issues; resolve order, pricing, or product availability discrepancies.
- Maintain and update customer records, pipeline, and activity in CRM; follow established sales processes.
- Monitor account health and proactively follow up on open quotes, renewals, and order issues to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with outside sales, engineering, and product teams to support complex quotes and customized solutions.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to streamline quoting, order entry, and customer communications.
- 2 years inside sales, customer service, or order management experience (manufacturing or B2B preferred).
- Proficient with CRM/ERP systems and MS Office (Excel); experience with quoting tools a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional phone presence.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a customer-first mindset and problem-solving ability.
Preferred:
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (production, logistics, engineering).
- Knowledge of QTL product lines or related industry experience.
