Job Summary
The Order Entry Representative is responsible for generating accurate and timely quotes based on requests provided by Account Managers. This role involves interpreting project requirements, calculating costs, and compiling detailed quotes and orders for various linear LED lighting solutions. The ideal candidate will efficiently handle data entry, maintain accuracy, and communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure all project specifications are met. Minor customer interaction may be required to clarify details, but the primary focus is on internal collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret project specifications received from Account Managers to create accurate orders.
- Calculate and compile costs for products, materials, and labor.
- Input data accurately into the company’s quoting and CRM systems.
- Collaborate closely with the sales, production, and project management teams to align on project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain organized records of orders, update orders as necessary, and ensure timely completion.
- Provide internal updates on quote statuses and resolve any discrepancies with team members.
- Conduct periodic checks for accuracy in pricing, part numbers, and quantities.
Basic Requirements:
- College degree preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience in quoting, estimating, or data entry roles, preferably within the lighting or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with quoting software or CRM systems; basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
