Job Summary
The Benefit Specialist will have a working knowledge of benefit administration and leave policies. Will be responsible for administrating benefits for all QSAC employees including enrollment/termination processing. This position is not remote or hybrid and would require you to work at our Manhattan corporate office five days a week full time 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with QSAC staff about benefits plans including medical, dental, vision and transit
- Conduct Benefits Orientation & other trainings as needed
- Assist staff with benefit enrollments and LOA’s
- Assist in annual open enrollment
- Maintain employee benefit files, SPD’s and other documents according to record retention requirements and established guidelines
- Review and Analyze with Worker’s Comp, Disability (Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability), FMLA, PFL and LOA cases
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
- 1-3 years of Human Resources Benefits Administration experience preferred
- Knowledge of benefit program compliance and reporting requirements
- HCM experience required
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Must be well-organized, detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills
