About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals overcome communication and swallowing challenges, and will work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals to deliver personalized therapy plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with other professionals (occupational therapists, physical therapists) to support holistic care
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with AAC devices and evidence-based therapy approaches is a plus
