What You'll Do
- Review routers, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine proper machining sequences
- Set up Blanchard grinding machines by positioning parts using blockins and angle blocks
- Adjust and regulate machine controls to achieve required thickness and finish
- Monitor operations, inspect parts, and identify defects to maintain quality standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and adjust processes to meet customer specifications
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues
- Notify supervision when additional resources or repairs are needed
- Meet daily production schedules and quality expectations
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation
- Communicate effectively with teammates to maintain workflow continuity
- Actively participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
What You Bring
EducationKnowledge
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or machining experience preferred
- Basic reading and math skills (minimum 8thgrade level)
- Understanding of manufacturing quality requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work on your feet in a production environment
