CMM Operator - 2nd and 3rd shift

CMM Operator – Join Our Growing Manufacturing Team
We're looking for a detail driven Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator to support our quality operations and ensure that every part we produce meets the highest standards. In this role, you'll run Zeiss CMM programs, verify product conformance, and help maintain the equipment and records that keep our quality systems running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Operate Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to accurately measure production parts against customer specifications
• Communicate measurement results, irregularities, and nonconformances to machine operators across all shifts
• Analyze CMM reports and perform manual verification when necessary
• Follow established setup instructions and CMM programming guidelines
• Manage your schedule to support ontime delivery and production needs
• Complete production and quality logs accurately and on time
• Maintain CMM equipment, records, and departmental supplies
• Support the requirements of the QQE Quality Management System, including document and record control
• Contribute ideas, take ownership of tasks, and help drive continuous improvement
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
  

What You Bring

EducationKnowledge

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Working knowledge of computers (online manuals, record maintenance, basic software)
• Understanding of instrumentation and controls
• Minimum 1 year of handson CMM operating experience

SkillsAbilities

• Strong communication skills-verbal and written
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed
