What You'll Do
- Operate Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to accurately measure production parts against customer specifications
- Communicate measurement results, irregularities, and non‑conformances to machine operators across all shifts
- Analyze CMM reports and perform manual verification when necessary
- Follow established setup instructions and CMM programming guidelines
- Manage your schedule to support on‑time delivery and production needs
- Complete production and quality logs accurately and on time
- Maintain CMM equipment, records, and departmental supplies
- Support the requirements of the QQE Quality Management System, including document and record control
- Contribute ideas, take ownership of tasks, and help drive continuous improvement
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
What You Bring
Education & Knowledge
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Working knowledge of computers (online manuals, record maintenance, basic software)
- Understanding of instrumentation and controls
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on CMM operating experience
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication skills-verbal and written
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed
