Compensation: $65,000–$70,000 per year, commensurate with experience

About QQ Nails:

QQ Nails is a growing nail and beauty brand known for high-quality service and standout nail art in NYC. We're looking for a Social Media Content Creator Coordinator to help build our online presence, grow our community, and bring our in-salon experience to life across TikTok, Instagram, and beyond.

Role Overview:

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating content as much as coordinating it. You'll plan, shoot, edit, and publish content, manage the content calendar, and work directly with nail artists, influencers, and leadership to grow QQ Nails' social presence and drive customer engagement. A genuine interest in beauty and nails is a big plus — you'll be filming real services, trends, and transformations every week.

What you'll do:

• Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar across TikTok, Instagram, and other key platforms
• Film, edit, and publish original short-form video and photo content — nail art features, tutorials, trends, and behind-the-scenes
• Support with influencers, KOCs, and nail artists on collaborations, content shoots, and campaigns
• Track content performance (views, engagement, follower growth, leads) and adjust strategy based on results
• Partner with marketing team  on messaging, promotions, and new product/service launches
• Maintain the content asset library and keep visuals consistent with brand guidelines
• Engage with comments and DMs to build community and support customer relationships
• Stay on top of beauty and nail trends, platform algorithm changes, and competitor content

What we're looking for:

• 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, coordination, or a similar role
• A strong portfolio of short-form video content (TikTok/Reels) that shows both filming and editing skills
• Proficiency with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere/Rush, or similar
• Genuine interest in and/or experience with beauty, nails, or cosmetics — strongly preferred
• Strong writing and copywriting skills
• Comfortable being on camera and directing talent or models when needed
• Highly organized, self-directed, and able to juggle multiple shoots and deadlines
• Comfortable thinking outside the box and testing new ideas.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience is welcome

Nice to have:

• Experience working with influencer or KOL networks
• Experience with Rednote App preferred
• Familiarity with nail art trends and techniques
• Bilingual (English/Mandarin)

Compensation:

• $65,000–$70,000 annual salary, based on experience
