Position Title: Production
Wage: $21.25 per hour
Join a dynamic production team in the Food and Beverage industry, where you'll contribute to ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Remove cheese forms from brine to conveyor
- Spray down and sanitize equipment between batches
- Monitor the automated cheese extraction process to ensure proper operation
- Follow all GMPs, company policies, and safety procedures
- Bag, scale, label, and prepare cheese for shipping
- Place cheese into air-filled pouches and complete visual inspections
- Rinse and sanitize equipment throughout the shift
- Maintain continuous product flow, ensuring proper positioning, spacing, sealing, and labeling
- Setup, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment to guarantee optimal performance
- Box and palletize finished products efficiently
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, twisting, and repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds in a moderate to cool environment
Production Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read, understand, and execute written procedures
- Strong math, reading, writing, and computer skills
- Physically able to perform repetitive lifting and work in a fast-paced setting
- Must use equipment such as rubber gloves, safety glasses, aprons, sleeves, bump caps, and ear plugs (all provided by the client)
- PPE includes aprons, chemical-resistant gloves and boots, safety goggles, hard hats, and slip-resistant shoes
- Assigned to the Manufacturing/Production department, with mandatory overtime as needed
- Work environment can be wet, cool, or hot depending on the department; moderate noise levels are expected
