We are seeking a SMT Machine Operator with hands-on experience operating MyData / Mycronic pick-and-place equipment, specifically the MY300LX platform. This role is responsible for machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintaining production efficiency while ensuring high-quality PCB assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment, primarily MyData / Mycronic MY300LX machines
- Load feeders, components, and programs for production runs
- Perform first article inspections and make necessary machine adjustments
- Troubleshoot placement, alignment, and feeder issues to minimize downtime
- Ensure accurate component placement and adherence to quality standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Verify BOMs, programs, and setup sheets prior to production
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve process issues
- Maintain accurate production and downtime records
- Follow all safety and ESD procedures
Qualifications
- 2 years of SMT machine operation experience (MyData / Mycronic preferred)
- Experience with MY300LX or similar pick-and-place platforms strongly preferred
- Understanding of SMT processes, including component placement and PCB assembly
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and BOMs
- Familiarity with feeders, nozzles, and component packaging (reels, trays, sticks)
- Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
