Position Summary
Administrative Support at the Qorvo Bend, OR, facility. The primary responsibilities will include general support of manufacturing and administrative operations. This position works under the direction of the Production Supervisor, but also collaboratively with other departments such as facilities, engineering, quality, and EH&S. Individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, have good multi-tasking skills, clear communication, strong work ethic, and work well in a small group atmosphere.
This position requires occasional wearing of personal protective equipment, including ESD protection, working in areas with constant background noise.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Adhere to company policies such as those relating to safety and quality
Ship & Receive all internal/external shipments
On-site contact for vendor contracts such as janitorial, coffee/vending and cleaning services
Front desk representative for incoming visitors including answering door for shipping/ receiving couriers
Prepare customer shipments and documentation
Single point contact for all site purchasing requests
Scanning, filing, and archiving of documentation
Chemicals,Gas and Fab material inventory management and procurement
Office & Breakroom supplies inventory management and procurement
Coordinator for annual on-site equipment Calibration along with maintaining calibration records.
Event catering coordination and support
Perform document updates/revisions as well as document reviews.
Work independently and as part of a team
Perform inventory cycle counts
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities when necessary
Willingness to take on miscellaneous tasks as needed
Drive implementation of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) ideas
Manage calibration program.
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma minimum required
Minimum of 1-2 years relevant work experience
Ability to lift up to 35lbs (unassisted)
Experience in a production environment helpful but not required
Ability to operate general office equipment such as copiers, printers, scanners, etc.
High competence with computer skills for Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required with additional experience with Adobe and SAP being helpful
The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail and a strong work ethic with the ability to stay focused on simple tasks
Excellent communication skills and acute attention to detail
Must be a team player who works well within a small team environment
