Key Responsibilities
1. SAP Pricing Configuration & Support
- Act as SME for SAP pricing configuration, including pricing conditions, procedures, schemas, and determination logic
- Troubleshoot pricing issues related to price calculation, discount stacking, condition precedence, and customer/material determination
- Partner with IT and functional teams on pricing enhancements, SAP BIT/UAT testing, and deployment readiness
- Ensure pricing configuration aligns with approved pricing policies, controls, and governance
- Pricing Execution Across Systems (SAP, Salesforce, CPQ)
- Support pricing execution in Salesforce Pricing Agreements (PA) and/or CPQ platforms
- Ensure consistency of pricing rules and logic between SAP (system of record) and Salesforce/CPQ (execution tools)
- Provide functional input into pricing rule design, deal configuration logic, exception handling, and approval flows
- Support integrations and data flows across systems, including pricing conditions and outputs
- Pricing Operations, Governance & Enablement
- Serve as escalation point for complex or non‑standard pricing issues
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and solution design
- Understand pricing logic and identify opportunities for simplification and reduction of manual interventions
- Create and maintain pricing documentation, job aids, and training materials
- Participate in pricing controls, audits, and governance reviews
- Continuous Improvement & Expertise Leadership
- Identify gaps between business pricing needs and system capabilities
- Contribute to roadmap discussions for pricing systems and tools
- Drive standardization and scalability of pricing models while allowing for business‑specific differences
- Lead the Pricing Admin Network and promote pricing best practices through expert guidance and knowledge sharing
- 5 years of experience in pricing, pricing systems, or commercial operations
- Hands‑on experience with SAP pricing configuration (SD pricing)
- Strong functional understanding of SAP pricing logic and dependencies
- Experience supporting or integrating with Salesforce pricing tools (Pricing Agreements, CPQ, or similar)
- Ability to translate pricing policy and commercial intent into system logic
- Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort working across business and IT teams
- Experience in a centralized pricing COE or global pricing function and Exposure to CPQ platforms is a plus
- Understanding of automation solutions like MS Power Automate is a plus
- Proficiency and/or literacy in AI (Artificial Intelligence)
