Daily responsibilities:
- Facilitating Continuous Improvement Program on Cross Functional Teams:
- Root Cause Analysis
- Preventative Countermeasure
- Verification of Effectiveness
- Process Development. Could be both QMS Processes or Manufacturing Processes.
- Process Auditing (both QMS Processes and Daily Production Audits).
- KPI Monitoring:
- Customer Complaints
- Cost of Poor Quality (Internal Scrap)
- Audit Conformance
- APQP:
- Control Plans
- PFMEA
- SPC/MSA Development
Skills
- Strong knowledge of APQP / PPAP
- Strong knowledge of FMEA (DFMEA / PFMEA)
- Strong knowledge of Control Plans & Process Flows
- Strong knowledge of Root cause analysis methodologies
- Proficiency in quality tools (SPC, MSA, Cp/Cpk)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective cross-functional communication
- Results-driven with a focus on zero defect mindset
- High attention to detail and process discipline
- Automotive industry experience (preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) (preferred)
- Experience with customer-specific requirements (CSRs) (preferred)
- Familiarity with audit standards (IATF, VDA 6.3) (preferred)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
Salary : $40 - $55
