Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on airfield, high mast, and large‑scale lighting projects
- Plan daily work activities, assign manpower, and coordinate materials and equipment
- Oversee civil work, underground construction, duct banks, conduit, foundations, and lighting installations
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with NEC, OSHA, and project safety requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, airport authorities, and other trades
- Maintain productivity, quality control, and accurate field documentation
- Perform site walkthroughs, assist with layout, and troubleshoot field issues as needed
Requirements
- Preferred: Prior experience with airfield lighting, runway/taxiway lighting, or airport infrastructure projects
- Minimum: Proven experience running electrical crews on commercial or industrial projects
- Strong background in:
- Underground electrical work
- Civil construction coordination
- Conduit installation and site utilities
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for regional work
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on active job sites
