Navigating brain and spinal cord injury recovery after hospitalization is a daunting and complicated ordeal. The QLI Clinical Admissions Liaison helps smooth the turbulent waters and bridge our clients and their families to QLI where they can begin rebuilding their lives. QLI has established a national footprint and a reputation with hospitals around the country. The liaison is responsible for the development and preservation of the valued relationships we have with our referring hospitals.
As a result, frequent travel to medical centers throughout the U.S. for the purpose of evaluating patients and ongoing relationship building is an integral part of this job.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Demonstrate strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Exhibit strong clinical skills and knowledge with the ability to analyze a potential resident's needs, including physical, psychosocial and emotional history
- Aptitude to learn and understand funding sources and criteria
- Willingness to understand, implement, and comply with current State and Federal Regulations
- Collaborate and maintain relationships with physicians, therapists, nursing team, referral sources, social workers, clinical team, and referral hospitals to develop and implement individualized therapy programs for our residents
- Facilitate meetings with family and provide education about our program
- Display understanding of the admission process from acute care to long-term care
- Provide support to clinical and residential teams as necessary
Education / Certification:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- At least one year of experience in resident/patient assessment (preferred)
- Candidate would hold a degree in either nursing (RN or LPN) or other clinical/therapy degrees such as Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy
Vaccination Requirements: Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season. If needed, we will provide vaccination at QLI, free of charge.
