Position Overview

QinetiQ US is looking to hire a Sr. Quality Inspector to support production at our Franklin, MA facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities

• Self-starter able to work independently
• Responsible for supporting incoming, in-process, and final inspections – focus on machined and assembled mechanical components
• Verify product conformance to program specifications, drawings and acceptance tests
• Capture all inspection data and supplier data packages in ETQ and Deltek
• Knowledge of test and inspection methodology
• Able to properly utilize standard inspection tools; calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc
• Support of QMS, AS9100D and CMMI processes
• Supports assigned programs in accordance with detailed Quality Plans
• Assure inspection equipment used is calibrated

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 Years experience
• Experience working on DOD electromechanical products
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Possess good technical communications and team building skills
• Must be able to interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office and configuration management
• Ability to problem solve and critically think
• Good trigonometry/geometry math skills
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) IAW ANSI/ASME Y14.5
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience working in an AS9100 environment
• Recent experience operating a CMMI

Pay Transparency

The hourly pay range for this role is $28.00 - $40.00 USD. The hourly pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
