Job Description:
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician supporting high-quality facility operations at a prominent site in Middle River, MD. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $24.00 and provides an excellent opportunity to utilize your hands-on maintenance skills in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for routine and preventive maintenance of various building systems, repair work, and ensuring the safety and functionality of the facility. Your expertise in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks will be essential to maintaining a professional, safe, and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Perform repairs on walls, floors, doors, ceilings, and furniture, including painting and touch-up work.
• Maintain plumbing systems: repair/unclog toilets, urinals, replace valves, and maintain sensors.
• Service HVAC units: change filters, clean coils, maintain air handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues: repair lights, switches, outlets, and use electrical testers for circuit troubleshooting.
• Operate lawn and snow removal equipment to maintain outdoor grounds.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and communicate effectively with site leadership.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Support building beautification and safety protocols, including fire extinguisher and emergency lighting inspections.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Ability to operate lawn and snow removal equipment.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and maintaining documentation.

Preferred Certifications:

• HVAC certification (optional but beneficial).
• Electrical or plumbing licenses (if applicable).
