Purpose
They are seeking an experienced data scientist to deliver insights from mobile casino game and audience data. The ideal team member will have mathematical, AI and statistical expertise to mine, interpret, and clean game and audience data with responsibility to ask questions, connect the dots, and uncover opportunities that lie hidden within the data.
Roles and Expectations
- Lead data-driven and evidence-based research to support the delivery of game metrics, KPIs, reporting
- Creation of Dashboards that will be used to drive business decisions.
- Communicate findings to all stakeholders
- Enable smarter business processes—and implement analytics for meaningful insights
- Keep current with technical and industry developments
- Translate data and insights into meaningful visualizations and stories to drive strategy, action, and decision-making with internal team leads (Game Designers, Management and Game Intelligence leads)
- Further incorporate data-driven decision-making in operations and Game Design.
- Establish KPIs and Dashboard to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
- Nice to Have: Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis
- Nice to Have: Advanced and predictive analytics
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline
- Experience with AB testing
- An aptitude for creativity and ability to formulate problems and solve them independently
- Preferred: 4 years of industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, ML and analysis
- Preferred: Experience with AI: Machine Learning: Deep Learning & Neural Networks, Predictive Analytics & Math models.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in stats, applied math, or related discipline (for senior position)
- Preferable experience with online gaming data sets (slot games).
Skills
- Familiarity with data management / visualization /Statistics tools
- Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, PowerBI and programming languages (i.e., Java/Python, SAS, R) and Snowflake.
- Preferred: Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
- Preferred: Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience
- Preferred: Experience with machine learning and AI
- Tensor Flow, Azure Machine Learning Studio or similar tools

Salary : $75,000 - $130,000
