Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a positive work culture and achieving store goals.

Duties

• Supervise and manage team members to ensure effective performance and adherence to company policies.
• Conduct employee orientation, training, and development programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and inventory control processes.
• Handle payroll and bookkeeping tasks accurately to maintain financial integrity.
• Engage in recruiting efforts, including interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team.
• Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product presentation and sales.
• Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate coverage for smooth operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the shopping experience.
• Utilize retail math for pricing strategies and sales management to meet budgetary goals.
• Foster effective communication within the team and with customers to promote a collaborative environment.

Skills

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred for enhanced customer interaction.
• Proficient in retail management practices, including cashiering, sales management, and store management.
• Experience in supervising teams with a focus on training & development.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong time management abilities.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Solid understanding of budgeting principles and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership qualities that inspire team motivation and performance excellence.
• Effective communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
