Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assist in meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Cook a variety of dishes with precision, maintaining consistency and presentation standards
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, cleaning workstations, and maintaining equipment
• Assist with menu planning and suggest improvements based on culinary trends and guest preferences
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Contribute to catering events and special meal preparations as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is required
• Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering enhances your suitability for this role
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting with excellent teamwork skills
• Culinary experience or background in the food industry will support your success in this position

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
