We are looking for a tax incentives & operations specialist to join our Offering Development Team to enable tax incentive capture through procurement, inventory management, and demand control of Safe Harbor inventory. This is a strategic planning and operations role and will work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Distribution Operations, Legal, Tax, Business Planning, and Vendor Management teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in audit, tax consulting or tax accounting with experience supporting the solar industry, residential sector preferred. Other candidates with direct solar industry experience will be considered. This position will be based out of San Francisco, CA.

The ideal candidate will have experience in audit, tax consulting or tax accounting with experience supporting the solar industry, residential sector preferred. Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities, including forecasting, placing purchase orders, and coordinating production schedules with vendors.
- Oversee Safe Harbor inventory management and deployment, including logistics, serial number tracking, and storage coordination with internal teams.
- Lead Safe Harbor operations, including dealer demand control through accurate forecasting.
- Translate Safe Harbor contracts into operations processes, ensuring both internal teams and vendors adhere to purchasing agreements, and partner with Legal to prevent conflicts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Safe Harbor audit processes, collaborating with Tax, Legal, and project teams to establish policies, documentation, and procedures for audit readiness.
- Coordinate supplier logistics activities to support on-time delivery and minimize supply chain disruptions. Proactively identify risks and drive corrective actions with external suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, supply chain, operations, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience including at least 3-5 years working in accounting/audit, consulting, procurement, operations, or supply chain management, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Proven communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across multiple teams and departments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and optimize processes, manage projects end-to-end, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to inform decisions, track performance, and report results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage competing priorities, and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Travel up to 15%, depending on business needs.
- Solar Industry experience (Renewable)
- Experience in audit processes, compliance, or internal controls, with the ability to serve as a subject matter expert on company policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or project management tools.
