POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Qcells New Homes is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of residential solar projects from initiation through completion. This role partners closely with the New Homes Project Management team to ensure projects are accurately documented, properly tracked, and progressing on schedule. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced construction and solar environment.
This position is based in Irvine, CA, with an in-office schedule determined by the hiring manager in alignment with company policy.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal teams, builders, and installation partners to collect, track, and validate all required project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Organize and perform quality checks on project photos and documentation across all construction phases to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor project progress and communicate key updates to stakeholders to support timely execution and issue resolution
- Provide administrative and operational support to the New Homes Project Management team
- Prepare and issue work orders for third-party vendors, ensuring scope alignment and accuracy
- Track outstanding tasks and proactively follow up to prevent delays and maintain project timelines
- Maintain accurate project records across CRM systems, third-party platforms, and internal tools
- Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and documentation standards
- Associate degree or equivalent required including 2 years of work experience in the solar industry working in the capacity of project coordination or operational support within construction, solar, or technical environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, project tracking tools, and online portals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement and long-term solutions.
- Demonstrated accountability, professionalism, and follow-through.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
- Working knowledge of residential construction processes, documentation requirements, and financing workflows.
- Experience supporting new home construction or construction management projects.
