POSITION DESCRIPTION:
EnFin is seeking a Manager, Operations Data and Controls to own data integrity, metadata validation, and documentation readiness across the TPO lifecycle. This role centralizes fragmented operational data and file work that directly impacts milestone approvals, vendor reviews, funding readiness, and capital markets execution. This role is operational in nature and focused on the execution of readiness. It does not make credit decisions, servicing determinations, or milestone approval decisions, but ensures the underlying data and documentation are accurate and complete so projects can move forward cleanly.
This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ with an in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered for exceptional cases.

Responsibilities
- Own metadata verification and correction end to end across TPO projects.
- Manage custodian file operations and document follow ups.
- Maintain and govern operational data trackers, Excel Sheets, and client portal corrections.
- Coordinate data related fixes with QSS, Omnidian, and internal Operations.
- Partner cross-functional with Product, Risk, Capital Markets, and Servicing to align data standards and operational requirements.
- Drive cleanup of legacy, stalled, and exceptional projects.
- Act as the single source of truth for operational data hygiene.
- Produce clear reporting on data issues, progress, and aging.
- Identify systemic data issues and partner with Process Improvement and Product on remediation.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and oversight for assigned resources, while supporting team expansion as the function grows.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for data integrity and operational controls across the TPO lifecycle.
- Proactively identify system, data, and process gaps impacting operational controls, and translate these into business feature request while partnering with Product, Tech, and across the organization and supporting the evolution of this function as it scales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field or equivalent practical experience in operations, financial services, project management, or data-driven roles.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional work experience including 6 years of work experience in one or more of the following: solar or renewable energy, operations, project management, data management, financing, or financial services, B2B support, or CRM platforms, including data management, reporting, and workflow support and minimum of 3 years of people management or team leadership experience.
- Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional reports and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Ability to establish priorities and manage time to complete work with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Experience coordinating with other teams and departments such as risk, capital markets, and Servicing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
- Comfort working with SFDC (CRM), spreadsheets, portals, and operational tooling.
- Experience in solar, energy, fintech, or servicing operations preferred.
