Summary
The IT Solution Architect will assist in managing the office IT systems and in supporting facilities maintenance. This position reports to the Associate Director of IT Operations or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is On-Site located in the Houston, TX office reporting 5 days per week and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.

Essential Job Function & Responsibilities
IT 66%:
- Configure and dispatch hardware for new hires and replacement requests
- Advise and support on development and improvement of IT systems, networks, software, hardware, IT policies, andsecurity;
- Manage the relationship with our outside IT consulting vendor and serve as a gatekeeper for all IT-related issues.
- Assist in resolution and support for issues related to IT systems, networks, software, hardware, andsecurity;
- Create and maintain an inventory of equipment and software licenses for thecompanies;
- Help manage and track distribution of all IT assets to employees, providing data to Corporate Finance asneeded;
- Assist staff, both local and remote, with daily operation of computersystems;
- Install computer peripherals and applications for users
- Prepare computers for first-time use by new and visiting employees
- Support development of IT and network-security practices and policies as well as employee compliance with such practices and policies.
- Adviseand support on enhancements, improvements, and maintenance ofIT systems.
- Manage outside vendors responsible for maintaining, enhancing, improving, and expanding the IT infrastructure.
- Maintain documentation for all policies and procedures and create new documentation for any new systems or needs.
- Lead IT Projects and upgrades of IT Systems ensuring good documentation and handoff to other staff; and
- Support development of facilities-related practices and policies as well as employee compliance with such practices and policies.
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management
- 3-5 years of experience in Senior IT Support Role
- Robust knowledge of and experience with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure, Entra
- Experience with Mobile Device Management, Rights Management Systems, Document Management Systems, IT security systems, and IT Design.
- Mac OS experience - Installs, configures, and troubleshoots computers, software, and peripheral devices.
- Experience withWindows Server, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud virtual machines.
- Strong project management and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
