Position Overview
We are seeking few experienced Production /Operations Managers to lead our finishing operations and oversee day-to-day workflow. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of coating/paint operations, and the ability to manage a fast-paced production environment with strict quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily production activities for liquid painting and finishing operations
- Manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient workflow
- Supervise, train, and develop a team of painters, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure all processes meet NADCAP, customer, and internal quality requirements
- Monitor job progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service teams to meet project requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment aligned with OSHA and industry standards
- Track production metrics, labor utilization, and resource requirements
- Assist with quoting, capacity planning, and long-term operational strategy
Qualifications
- 5 years of production or operations management experience in metal finishing, coatings, aerospace, or related industry
- Strong understanding of liquid painting operations, surface prep, masking, curing, and inspection
- Experience working in NADCAP, aerospace, or military-compliant environments strongly preferred
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read blueprints, specs, work instructions, and customer requirements
- Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies a plus

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
