Position Overview
QC Capital is seeking a high-performing Real Estate Associate to support the firm’s acquisition and capital deployment initiatives across its real estate investment platform. This role is designed for a motivated, entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a performance-based environment and is driven by revenue generation, deal execution, and relationship development. The Real Estate Associate will play a critical role in sourcing opportunities, underwriting potential investments, and supporting transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities
● Deal Sourcing & Pipeline Development
○ Proactively identify and cultivate new real estate investment opportunities through broker relationships, direct outreach, and market intelligence
○ Maintain and expand a robust pipeline of acquisition targets aligned with QC Capital’s investment strategy
● Financial Analysis & Underwriting
○ Conduct preliminary and advanced financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, return metrics (IRR, equity multiple), and sensitivity analyses
○ Evaluate market trends, comparable assets, and risk factors to support investment recommendations
● Transaction Execution
○ Support end-to-end deal lifecycle, including LOI preparation, due diligence coordination, and closing processes
○ Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, accounting, and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution
● Relationship Management
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, property owners, lenders, and strategic partners
○ Represent QC Capital in meetings, property tours, and industry networking events
● Market Research & Strategy
○ Conduct ongoing research on target markets, asset classes, and competitive landscape
○ Provide insights to leadership to refine acquisition strategies and investment criteria
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
● 1–3 years of experience in real estate, sales, finance, or a related, performance-driven environment
● Strong financial acumen with proficiency in Excel and real estate underwriting concepts
● Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
● Highly self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently in a commission-based structure
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
