Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the target-state enterprise data architecture and logical and physical data models for the platform.
- Design storage, partitioning, indexing, and data access strategies using AWS data services, including Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, Amazon S3, and Amazon Redshift.
- Establish enterprise standards for data governance, data lineage, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
- Architect scalable data pipelines, system integrations, and data dissemination patterns supporting platform operations.
- Ensure data security, encryption, privacy, integrity, and regulatory auditability across the platform.
- Partner with Product Architects, AWS Architects, and engineering teams to address cross-functional data architecture requirements.
- Enable analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives through well-designed enterprise data architecture.
- Review database designs, mentor database developers, and promote data architecture best practices across the program.
- 10 years of data engineering and database architecture experience.
