Role Description
This is a contract-based remote role for a Health Officer at QAP - Qualidade Assegurada do Processo. The Health Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and promoting occupational and community health initiatives. The role will also involve ensuring workplace and construction site compliance to safety regulations, conducting employee training, and acting as a liaison between stakeholders to address health concerns and implement effective solutions.
- Expertise in Occupational Health and Community Health best practices
- Proficiency in implementing Workplace Safety measures and regulations
- Experience in overseeing and managing Construction Safety protocols
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with national and international health and safety standards is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH are preferred
- Ability to work independently and remotely with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field
