Role Description

Qal-Tek Associates is seeking a full-time Radiological Controls Instructor/Trainer for an on-site role based in Bradenton, FL. The Instructor/Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering radiological training programs, including both classroom and hands-on instruction. Responsibilities include creating training materials, demonstrating the use of radiological detection equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and performing evaluations of trainees. The role also involves staying updated on industry best practices and advancements in radiological safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in radiation safety principles, radiological controls, and hazardous material response
  • Strong skills in curriculum development, instructional design, and delivering effective training sessions
  • Experience with radiological detection, instrumentation calibration, and testing
  • Ability to evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in radiological or related industries
  • Certifications in radiation safety or related fields are highly desirable
  • Ability to work on-site in Bradenton, FL, with occasional travel required
