JOB SUMMARY:

We take a partner approach to ensuring out clienteles equipment is operational, safe, and reliable so they can continue their purpose in building and securing our world.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform maintenance and calibration of radiation detection instrumentation, materials testing equipment and a variety of detection and measurement instrumentation across the country. Calibration technicians will transport Qal-Tek's mobile calibration laboratories to test labs, construction project sites, military bases, mines, and a variety of other governmental and private facilities. Job performance includes the assembling, testing, diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, modifying and/or installing complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:
All training is provided and employees are required to maintain their level of performance to the training requirements.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred six months experience and training in calibration and/or repair of instrumentation or equipment.
- Acceptable completion of OJT and walkthrough qualifications for specified instrument models and types.
- Age of 21 years or older.
- Able to lift 100lbs
- High school graduate.
- Desire to travel a minimum of 2 weeks/month.

Pay: $20-25/hr Overtime (Annualized income of $55k plus for 2 Weeks/Mo)
Additional Earning potential for candidates willing to travel more.
