As the Assistant IT Manager, you will work closely with the IT Director to oversee day-to-day technology operations, lead strategic projects, and ensure seamless technical support for both the corporate and private property environments. You'll have the opportunity to manage complex systems, and mentor junior team members as you grow into a management role.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations & Systems Management:
- Oversee and maintain enterprise systems including cloud, networking, virtualization, backup systems, security infrastructure, devops and automation platforms.
- Ensure uptime, performance, and security for critical systems.
- Manage and optimize Wi-Fi networks, surveillance systems, and automation controls across multiple properties.
Project Management & Execution
- Lead and coordinate IT infrastructure and software projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define priorities, and deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Regularly update leadership on project status and proactively address deadline risk.
- Utilize existing internal software platforms for project management.
Team & Vendor Coordination
- Work alongside the IT Director to assign and oversee tasks for the technical team.
- Serve as a primary liaison between technical staff, leadership, and external vendors.
- Begin mentoring and supporting junior IT staff, with a focus on developing future leadership capabilities.
End-User & Executive Support
- Provide high-level technical support to executives and staff, ensuring rapid resolution of critical IT issues.
- Support and maintain devices including Windows, and iOS systems.
- Deliver clear, non-technical explanations and updates to users at all levels.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, security, and user experience.
- Stay informed on emerging technology trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field. Top schools preferred.
- Experience: 4 years of hands-on IT systems administration, networking, and/or software development experience.
- Proven track record of technical expertise
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of networking, Windows Server, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and backup/disaster recovery systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft application development and processes.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership potential with a desire to grow into a people management role.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work on-site in Fort Worth, TX, with occasional after-hours or weekend work.
- Willingness to travel to other properties as needed.
- Commitment to the position for at least two years.
