What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney (Civil, Family, and/or Business law) position at Q. Chen Law?
We are hiring a full-time CA-barred attorney to work in person at our Newark, CA office.
Salary: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year. Compensation varies with experience.
Schedule: Full-time, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person at Newark, CA. After the first 6-month period, the schedule is flexible.

Job Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice in the state of California
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation
- Maintain confidentiality, work well independently and with team members
- Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Have interest in practicing in Civil, Family, and/or Business law
- 1 to 5 years of legal experience minimum preferred
Job Duties:
- Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, etc.
- Research legal issues
- Correspond with clients, counsel, and third-parties
- Appear to court
- Take and defend depositions
