- Reports to: Operations Shift Manager/Director of Gaming Operations
- Supervises: N/A
- Monday - 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Tuesday - 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Wednesday - Off
- Thursday - Off
- Friday - Off
- Saturday - 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM
- Sunday - 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations, Internal Controls and company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective working relationships with Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission Representatives, particularly the duty to disclose and cooperate per IRGC rule 13.2(1)h.
- Maintain effective working relationships with other departments and employees.
- Ensure proactive customer service, personally resolving customer problems as required.
- Performs ticket fills & jackpot payments per Internal Controls.
- Authorizes slot payouts per Internal Controls.
- Circulate the slot floor to make sure everything is clean and in working order.
- Perform minor repairs, such as printer issues, bill jams and any other small repair that may be required by the guest.
- Help push in chairs and empty cups when needed.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Be able to comprehend basic mechanical slot machine functions & perform minor mechanical repairs such as bill jams, printer jams, etc.
- Well organized, produces legible and accurate paperwork & possess good cash handling skills.
- Willing and able to work non-traditional schedules, particularly nights and weekends.
- Able to spend extended periods standing and walking.
- Able to work in potentially stressful conditions (i.e. noisy, crowded, smoky, busy).
- Strong customer service skills, personality, and orientation.
- Able to remain composed when dealing with irate customers.
- Generally light, with occasionally medium work. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Standing for long periods of time
- Bending, stooping and crawling.
- Generally, works indoors, repeatedly exposed to high noise levels & cigarette smoke (in casino), as well as high voltages on some equipment.
