Day Porter – Downtown Anchorage
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Job Description:Q-1 Services is a leading commercial cleaning company providing exceptional cleaning services to a diverse portfolio of clients in the Greater Anchorage area. We are committed to creating long-term career opportunities for our employees and are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Day Porter to join our team in Anchorage. This position involves maintaining professional office and common areas in buildings. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, communicate effectively with building tenants, and uphold Q-1’s high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
Schedule: (Two Shifts Available)
- Day shift - Wednesday through Sunday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Evening Shift - Friday through Tuesday: 3:30pm - 12:00 am
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize floors, walls, and surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
- Remove trash and recycling materials.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, and lobbies.
- Clean event spaces
- Wipe glass doors, sanitize high-touch surfaces, and maintain entryways.
- Communicate with supervisors and building management to ensure cleaning needs are met.
- Follow all safety and health regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications:
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Professional appearance and communication (English required).
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
