Role Overview:
As a Client Development Associate at Pyyne, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by acquiring new business through outbound sales efforts. In this role, you'll apply your consulting skills to business development—conducting strategic discovery with prospects, positioning our capabilities against their technology challenges, and building our sales pipeline.
This is not a traditional BDR role; you'll engage in substantive conversations about technology strategy, digital transformation, and architecture decisions with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect Engagement: Initiate outbound conversations with C-suite and VP-level decision-makers at target accounts, discussing their technology roadmaps and business challenges.
- Strategic Discovery: Lead qualification conversations that go beyond surface-level needs assessment—understand clients' current state, strategic objectives, and technology constraints to identify genuine fit.
- Pipeline Management: Manage pipeline in HubSpot CRM and source leads using tools like ZoomInfo to identify and track target accounts
- Market Engagement: Represent Pyyne at conferences and networking events, engaging in technical and strategic discussions with prospects.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a qualified pipeline through systematic outreach and relationship development, ensuring consistent follow-up.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in AI, digital transformation, and technology services to inform outreach strategy and conversation positioning.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years in technology strategy consulting, management consulting with a tech focus, or similar analytical client-facing roles.
- Ability to understand and discuss business strategy, technology architecture, and digital transformation at a level that builds credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to synthesize complex information and articulate value propositions clearly in writing and conversation.
- Willingness to learn sales fundamentals, CRM systems, and outbound prospecting techniques (prior sales experience not required).
- Comfortable with autonomy, meeting activity and pipeline targets, and working in a hybrid environment.
- Able to attend events and conferences in NYC and nationally as needed.
- Can manage multiple concurrent prospect relationships with appropriate follow-through.
Nice to Have:
- Direct experience with cloud platforms, AI/ML applications, or software engineering projects.
- Experience presenting to or advising C-level executives.
