What are the responsibilities and job description for the W2 Only- Azure DevOps Engineer position at Pyramid Technology Solutions, Inc.?
Role: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: NYC, NY – Hybrid
Duration: Long-term Contract
Interviews: (3 Rounds): All the interviews within one week.
Mandatory Skills:
- Python — Strong proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, infrastructure tooling, and building CI/CD utilities.
- Kubernetes — Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes including cluster management, Helm charts, service mesh (Istio), pod orchestration, troubleshooting, and production-grade deployments.
- CI/CD — Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with a focus on reliability and speed.
- GitLab CI/CD — Deep expertise in GitLab pipelines, including multi-stage pipelines, templates, shared runners, artifacts, and pipeline-as-code best practices.
- Azure Cloud — Solid knowledge of Azure services (AKS, Azure DevOps, Virtual Networks, IAM/RBAC, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor) with experience in cloud architecture and cost optimization.
Preferred / Good to Have:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK).
- Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell).
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, ingress controllers).
- Incident management and on-call experience.
Salary : $60 - $65
