High Focus Centers in Paramus is a premier provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our highly trained staff create individualized, comprehensive and robust treatment plans designed to meet each client’s treatment goals. At High Focus Centers in Paramus we are currently seeking a Mental Health Associate to join our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals in providing observation and monitoring in group therapy, during program breaks, providing clinical and administrative support, and driving our clients.. Hourly Rate: $16/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday varied shifts of 8am-4pm, 8:30am-4:30pm, 9:30am-5:30pm, 10am-6pm
Responsibilities:
• Complete the intake process with new clients into program
• Maintains client documentation through assigned clerical and operational activities
• Observe an document client self-administration of medication as applicable
• Coordination of client activities (includes didactic sessions, multi-modal group sessions, patient break supervision, routine monitoring of urine drug screens)
• Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
• Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention
• Assists with the dietary needs of clients
• Other duties as assigned
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required
