Counselor

Location: Concord, MA (NEW Facility!)

Pay Rate: 55,000-70,000 (Depending on experience, education, and licensure)

Schedule: Full-time, shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Counselors to join our growing team. As a Counselor, you will support our clients and play a key role in the day-to-day care, safety, and encouragement of our clients on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of clients and their families
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team
• Facilitate clinical services including individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program and licensing standards
• Participate in utilization review processes by providing required documentation
• Support the development of aftercare plans and participate in outcomes tracking
• Contribute to curriculum development and clinical program enhancement
• Provide crisis intervention support and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
• Conduct Level of Care Assessments as needed
• Participate in clinical on-call rotation as assigned
• Complete all required training and adhere to licensing, accreditation, and internal standards
  
  

Must possess one of the following at the time of hire:

• An LADC II or higher clinical licensure
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in human services in lieu of clinical licensure
• Be license-eligible, with eligibility status to be confirmed by the site Clinical Director or Executive Director.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Background in residential treatment and/or experience working with clients with SUD and co-occurring disorders
• Familiarity with electronic clinical records (ECR) and evidence-based treatment practices
