Adolescent Mental Health Therapist - Outpatient

Location: High Focus Centers – Pottstown, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (In-Person)

Salary: $54,000–$55,000 per year (based on experience and credentials)

About Us

High Focus Centers in Pottstown is a trusted provider of outpatient treatment services for individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Our multidisciplinary team delivers individualized, evidence-based care designed to support each client’s unique recovery journey.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Counselor/Therapist to join our team. This role focuses on supporting adolescents in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate outpatient group therapy sessions and provide family support services
• Conduct approximately 6–8 Level of Care Assessments per week, depending on program needs
• Lead one aftercare outpatient therapy group for clients transitioning to lower levels of care
• Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans
• Participate in regular treatment team meetings to review client progress
• Complete required clinical documentation and insurance utilization reviews
• Collect client co-pays as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field required, including completion of a clinical internship
• Previous counseling experience required; adolescent experience strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
