What You’ll Do
Employment & Vocational Support
Required
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
✔ Must meet Qualified Professional (QP) status per NC standards
✔ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred
✔ Master’s degree in Human Services or related field
✔ 1–3 years experience working with adults with serious mental illness
✔ Vocational rehab, supported employment, workforce development, or ACTT experience

What You’ll Do
Employment & Vocational Support
- Help clients identify strengths, interests, and career goals
- Provide resume assistance, interview prep, and workplace readiness coaching
- Support clients in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment
- Develop relationships with local employers and hiring partners
- Provide ongoing job coaching and retention support
- Integrate employment goals into person-centered treatment plans
- Help clients overcome barriers such as transportation, legal issues, or skill gaps
- Assist with benefits counseling related to employment income changes
- Participate in daily ACTT team meetings
- Coordinate care with clinicians and support staff
- Maintain timely documentation meeting CARF, DHHS, and LME standards
- Communicate progress with families, referral sources, and partners
- Provide transportation and field-based support as needed
- Assist with crisis response and hospital diversion efforts when needed
Required
