About Our Property
What you will have an opportunity to do:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas. This role supports the kitchen team by ensuring a clean, organized, and safe working environment while following hotel and health department standards.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines and manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and kitchen areas.
- Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when requested.
- Maintain adequate levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Ensure safe operation of dishwashing equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks as assigned.
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
