Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hand soldering and rework on electronic components (SMT & through-hole) as per IPC-A-610 standards
- Assemble medical device sub-assemblies using soldering irons, microscopes, and hand tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Inspect solder joints and assemblies for defects, quality, and compliance
- Follow GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations applicable to medical devices
- Maintain accurate documentation and batch records
- Handle sensitive electronic components following ESD and cleanroom protocols
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues
- Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and contamination control standards
- Diploma / Bachelor / Certification in Electronics, Electrical
- Proven experience in “precision soldering” (medical devices or electronics manufacturing preferred)
- Knowledge of “IPC soldering standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)”
- Experience with “SMT and through-hole soldering”
- Ability to work with microscopes and fine-pitch components
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing and quality systems
