Pay Range: $28/hr - $30/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize Windows server performance across enterprise environments.
- Design and execute performance and load testing initiatives.
- Evaluate server utilization, CPU, memory, storage, and network metrics.
- Develop capacity forecasts and infrastructure growth recommendations.
- Create performance dashboards, reports, and operational metrics.
- Establish performance baselines, thresholds, and automated alerting strategies.
- Analyze application and infrastructure changes for potential performance impacts.
- Present performance findings and capacity recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
- Network & Infrastructure Support
- Support enterprise LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Voice/Telephony environments.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and support of routers, switches, wireless devices, and servers.
- Support network upgrades, patching, security updates, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Participate in incident resolution and operational support efforts.
- Operational Support
- Maintain infrastructure inventory and asset records.
- Coordinate equipment replacements and RMAs.
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in Windows Server Administration, Infrastructure Support, or Network Operations
- Strong experience with:
- Windows Server environments
- Server Performance Monitoring
- Capacity Planning & Forecasting
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Enterprise Monitoring Tools
- Infrastructure Troubleshooting
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- LAN/WAN Networking
- Routing & Switching
- Wireless Networking
- Enterprise Telephony Systems
- Experience with SolarWinds, SCOM, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring platforms
- Experience supporting enterprise voice/telephony systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies
- Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, Network , or related certifications
