Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hospital-wide leadership during assigned shifts in the absence of senior administration
- Oversee clinical, operational, staffing, and patient flow activities across all departments
- Serve as a resource and mentor to charge nurses, nurse managers, and clinical leaders
- Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards
- Coordinate staffing, bed management, throughput, and surge planning
- Respond to hospital-wide emergencies, codes, and operational issues
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to resolve patient care and operational concerns
- Support performance improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety
- Ensure effective communication and service recovery when needed
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience
- Minimum 2 additional years in nursing leadership or supervisory role
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience with staffing coordination, hospital operations, and patient flow
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Acute care hospital setting
- Leadership-focused, system-wide impact role
- Flexible PRN scheduling (days or nights)
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience and Minimum 2 additional years in nursing leadership or supervisory role
- Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
- Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
